Volunteer Work

The Friends of Craig Brook utilize its members in numerous ways to assist the hatchery and foster awareness the endangered Atlantic Salmon. Some of the opportunities are listed below.
 
Hatchery & Ground Care
  • Egg & care                                                      Appropriate training and a commitment to
  • Assist in spawning activities                        at least 4 hours is required for these activities                        
  • Fin Clipping at Green Lake Hatchery
 
  • Seasonal maintenance of grounds and trails
 
Museum & Outreach
  • Man the Visitor’s Center desk – weekends especially
  • Hatchery tours – training will be provided.  Must commit to at least 4 hours
  • Develop & present nature walks on Hatchery grounds
  • Develop & install interpretive signs for the trail system
  • Assist Hatchery personnel with on and off-site outreach events
